From the 23 to the November 28, a seventh edition of the Course Informal Land Markets and Settlement Regularization in Latin America, which will be taught in Guatemala.
This course is being promoted by the Lincoln Institute in collaboration with the Association for Housing Improvement of Guatemala (MEJORHA), the Faculty of Architecture of the University of San Carlos de Guatemala (USAC), and the Association for Land and Territory Management (Agister)
Through this course, informality and land tenure regularization processes are examined based on Latin American cases and other countries. The areas of analysis include understanding the links between formal and informal land markets, legal aspects associated with security of tenure, property and housing rights, alternative policy instruments, new institutional forms and management procedures that allow alternative ways of project implementation, including community participation, and program evaluation at both the project and city level.
It is very good for lawyers, architects or technicians who work in government institutions or institutional strengthening in property regularization.
