My daughter's first oils
Now I'm back. After three years of geofuming, I decided to take a break that I already needed. I have had time to make a couple of trips, not necessarily for work, to see the calm world cup, and to do some empirical art of that which relaxes.
I painted again, but this time not in oil, I want to play with acrylic and texture paste. So that my children don't destroy my desire, I bought them some cambas, a miniature easel, oils and turpentine so that they can indulge in the art they already bring.
Here I show you the results of the almost eight years of my daughter, who had hardly dared with watercolors and tempers.

With the first one he learned several concepts that I was not taught in the first time: to pass the primer coat with white spirit to prevent it from cracking dry, to control the edges between flat tones, not to leave white spaces, not to use the brush is very dry and never put the color in the direct tone that comes in the tube. And while my son complained because Holland did not do anything in the final… he dared to the second. |
He finally finished after 44 minutes, with paint on his cheeks and hands, no doubt he will no longer need my basic advice. He has the will and the fang.
We'll see how long the supplies I've left last. Now we will go with my son, who very young had tried with oil on canvas without primer. |

It's good that you dedicate that time to him and teach him something that can be as simple as "use creativity through some medium". I wish all children had some parents who teach them to take risks in these "easy" things and dedicate that time to them that at the end of the years is so valuable...
A kiss and I'm glad you're back and rested!
