APLITOP has four families of applications in its portfolio: topographic projects, field applications with total station or GNSS equipment, tunnels and digital photogrammetry. In this case we will talk about MDT, whose main users are public administrations, construction companies, engineering studies, architecture, urban planning and companies dedicated to earth movements, quarrying, mining, environment, etc., as well as independent professionals.
MDT can be installed on different versions of AutoCAD, including the most recent ones, as well as on other cheaper platforms, such as BricsCAD and ZWCAD.
MDT adapts to the needs of the user through a scalable core that can be based on the standard or professional version, and a series of optional modules for topography, images and point clouds.
La Standard version allows you to model a terrain using points taken by any total station or GPS, generate level curves, obtain longitudinal and transversal profiles, calculate volumes by difference of meshes or profiles, and visualize the terrain in 3D.
La Professional version Is designed to assist the user in all the phases of realization of a project of roads, urbanizations, quarries, mines, etc. It includes all the features of the standard version and also has tools for the design of horizontal and vertical alignments, drawing of longitudinal and transverse profiles of project, to generate the modified terrain, lists of cubación, set out, etc.
El topography module Is useful for processing total station observations, calculating point coordinates, compensating polygons and networks, and performing coordinate transformations between geodetic and projected reference systems.
El Image module Allows you to load georeferenced images into position, as well as insert photos with location, divide and paste, change resolution, make adjustments and deformations, access to web services of maps (WMS), etc.
El Point cloud module Allows the user to view and process clouds of points captured by LiDAR technology, scanners or photogrammetry applications, being able to manage millions of imported points of files of the most usual formats. The points can be represented by natural color, intensity or category. It also generates longitudinal and transverse profiles from a polyline or an axis, as well as a digital model that can be exported to CAD.
