Learning AutoCAD Viewing

Today there are several free AutoCAD courses on the Internet, with this we do not intend to duplicate the effort already fulfilled by others, but rather to complement a contribution that presents the barrier between the course that explains all the commands and the reality of the user that once knowing the commandos do not know where to start.

Free autocad courseThis content is a sequence of videos that show how the construction plans of a house are made, step by step. The course is based on AutoCAD in versions before 2009, however the logic of operation remains the same and in some cases some steps have been facilitated with the coming of the interface of AutoCAD 2009 and that has been maintained until AutoCAD 2013.

It is clear that some steps are developed in this way for pedagogical purposes but that over time users learn to perform them in other more practical ways. However for someone who wants to learn AutoCAD from scratch this can result in a free AutoCAD course, ideal because it understands the logic of work in a constructive plane.

Then to update I suggest the AutoCAD 2012 Course Of guidesimediatas that shows how they have changed the new commands and the ribbon-style interface.

To upload them we have taken the necessary authorization, because they belong to a course that was previously sold on CD. Although only the videos have been included, without the audio.

The following summarizes what these videos represent, separating by color, indicating when they are first used:

  • In brown color the creation commands
  • In red edit commands
  • In green the additional utilities.

The precept is still the same as in an article I was talking about a while ago: That it is possible to learn AutoCAD just by knowing The operation of 25 commands; although in the development of this exercise you hardly need 8 of Creation, 10 of edition, the snap of reference and 6 utilities. Those that are summarized in the following bar:

Obviously this is AutoCAD to start, many other things are learned later; also the focus of this is constructive plans, topography will imply other commands, 3D will take something else. But we serve the resource for those who want to know what AutoCAD is for and in what order a constructive project is being worked on.

Commands are not included in the list as Regen, zoom, pan, save, snap, Which are of complementary use throughout the work.

  1. really very good ... and even better since I've seen videos with shrill sound and in this autocad is very much attentive ... thank you for placing them because we are many people that we are starting in this study and we are not so expert ... but we will arrive there with the help of you ... I wanted to tell you that I do not see the width and length in the plane or that is our assumption ... ..thanks ...... .jaime

  2. excellent, especially those who have little experience in autocad, the most elementary you are giving it to us, thanks for these courses that help a lot to people like me.

  3. Very good.

I wanted to subscribe to YouTube by following the “subscribe” link and I could not do it, if they have any other way, I will thank them, since I am interested in continuing to learn Autocad, both in 2D and in 3D.

    Thank you:

    Your friend: Manuel Libreros

  4. Regards!
I would also like to see a course for MicroStation, since they are more difficult to find than those of AutoCAD.
By the way, very good course.
