Engineering Projects with AutoCAD Civil 3D

Download autocad free civil 3d It is one of the most complete resources in Spanish that I have seen about Civil 3D, I have noticed this through the Forum of Cartesia and it seems to me that in addition to the Resources of AUGI It's almost enough to learn Civil 3D.

It has been promoted by ApliCAD who Apparently collaborated in translation they built the document entirely with the contribution of Neus Ros (Geodesy Engineer from the Polytechnic University of Valencia). To obtain it, you must register on the website of APPLICATION, And immediately receive a user and password with which you can download not only this document but others provided by this company.

The content index is this:

1.- Introduction to Autocad Civil 3D

At first the material focuses on explaining generalities briefly, it lacks an induction to what the entire document will find, since it does not seem to be so rich in exercises and examples explained in good Spanish.

Download autocad free civil 3d manualMaterial is based on the English manual of Civil 3D, It has some exercises similar to those in the Civil 3D manual in English, but it has been totally built by ApliCAD with a fairly friendly didactics, the workflows that are in some chapters are very good to explain the entire process that involves procedures long. Additionally come the files that are used to perform the exercises, just great.

  1. Hello and thanks for the information of this blog. my problem is that when making the corridor and show cross sections do not appear complete in the curves for example if a cross section is in a progressive where a horizontal curve is as duplicate or there are two sections in that section, this happens in the first section where the curve begins then the next one goes directly to the penultimate section of the curve, it also appears duplicated then it goes directly to a section of the racto del corridor. for example if the sections are programmed each 20 meters in straight lines and each 10 meters in curves and if the curve starts in the progressive 1 + 820 this section appears but duplicated the following one would be the 1 + 830, this does not appear, nor the next one afterwards only appears the final section of the curve for example 1 + 930 but also duplicated but the last section that is in the curve does not appear and it goes directly to a section on the line, please some advice because this error is to others of civil 3d that I found while trying to learn this program.

  2. Hello again, where I get an Autocad Civil 3D manual in English.

  3. Not so fast my friend, I suggest you ask in forums such as Cartesia and Gabriel Ortiz or in an AutoCAD Map manual, because I don't think it is not possible. Unfortunately, I can't answer truthfully because I don't have the program.

  4. Landing then you can not upload a cad map file direct to Google.

  5. I should, unfortunately I don't have that option. I am seeing Civil3D 3008, in Map / Tools / Export but it has no option to send to kml, maybe there is a plugin.

  6. Question Autocad Map has that option? or only Bentley Map has it.

  7. You must export them to kml to be able to visualize them with Google Earth

  8. Hello G! how can I export my cad files to xml format to view them in Google as I did for Microstation.
I am using AutoCad Map 2008 and when exporting it tells me that it detects 95 elements but it does not save anything. what happened I'm doing wrong.
    Thank you

  9. My regards friend, I had not even gotten myself into that roll.

  10. Well I did it by editing the file lmbrt.g66, with these parameters

I'm going to try the information you sent me about Bentley's support and I'll let you know if I can do it.

  11. Thanks g! Logreeeeeeeeeeeeee.
    Very fine friend

  12. You could orient me which parameter I would have to modify since they are 100 meters to the north that I must move my maps. It would be nice to try the information you get from the support.
    Thank you.

  13. Yes, Geographics was easier in this part. The support response came to me, but honestly it's half complicated.

  14. I almost achieved it I have a lag of 100 meters, I will keep trying but I did it with Geographic, since I did not find the data in bentley map.
    Thank you,,

  15. Well, going back to the theme to customize the projection:

I was seeing that in Geographics this was easier, you just went to Tools / coordinate system / and there you selected Master, then Conic and lambert conformal conic. And from there you could modify the data just as you put it in the mail. In case of customization, you made a copy of the .g66 file and then selected "master / read ASCII g66", modified it and voila.

I don't see it that way in Bentley Map, I have made the query to support, but the only similar option I see is in: Tools / geographic / select coordinate system, then here you select “from library” and then you look in the “projected” library, North American, North American Equidistant Conic. What I don't see here is how to edit it.

I think you will have to edit the file on foot: you go to this address:

    C: Program FilesBentleyGeospatialExtensioncoordinateparam

and here you look for the projection that suits, and you make a copy of it. Check, I think it could be:

You open it with notepad, and there you will see things like:

    GcPRJ_NM: Lambert Conformal Conic Projection
    GcCOORDSYS: 13
    GcE_RAD: 6378137.00000000
    GcP_RAD: 6356752.31420000
    GcDELTA_X: 0.00000000
    GcDELTA_Y: 0.00000000
    GcDELTA_Z: 0.00000000
    GcROT_X: 0.00000000
    GcROT_Y: 0.00000000
    GcROT_Z: 0.00000000
    GcBWSCALE: 0.00000000
    GcGLOBORG_X: 0.00000000
    GcGLOBORG_Y: 0.00000000
    GcGLOBORG_Z: 0.00000000
    GcMASTUNITS: 429496729
GcDAT_NM: World Geodetic System of 1984
GcELL_NM: World Geodetic System of 1984
    GcSOURCE: GeoCoordinator Dialog

you will have to adapt the data, if you have doubts about what they mean, you go to the help of Bentley Map, and you look for the definitions of each one in «ASCII System Keywords», with which you do the search by placing one of the names, it will appear.

Once you have made the adjustment, load it with:

Utilities / coordinate system / read ASCII .g66

Try it and let me know if you get caught up in anything.

  16. Give me a chance to go back to civilization, I'm on tour.

  17. I already sent you the files, I hope you indicate how to create the projection and export to klm.
    very delicate. JOSEPH

  18. Send me a file to take a look

    Editor (at) geofumadas. com

  19. I can send you the data and in what program can you create this projection. To which email you can send the data or I give you here in the forum. very thankful.

  20. Thank you I think I have the data that you mention, I would need your help to create the projection you mention, that's where I get lost.

  21. You will need to get the locally adjusted datum data, which in conditions like that, I suppose you changed the false east and eccentricity values.
You would then have to create the projection with the adjustments, then assign the projection to these and then export to kml.

  22. Thank you, in another forum leave this concern; Hello g !, you can help me export my files to kml, I try to change the coordinate system with Bentley Map but in my country El Salvador is in quadrant 16 but as it is small, we work with a division of quadrants, how can I do in this case, since when I export, the files in the Pacific Ocean fall to me, like a kilometer and a half to the south. Thank you

  23. Vicente what is the address of the Web.

  24. The autocad civil material 3d 2009, is very good, it will be possible to get 2010.
    Thank you

  25. The download link does not work !!!!! Can you fix it ??? _ Thank you.

  26. The material on display is very helpful for those of us who work with the program very well prepared with practical exercises. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Congratulations to ApliCAD. And Geofumadas for giving knowledge of such a great manual.

  27. Thanks, many thanks for the manuals, just imagine how much time they will save us in learning this program.

  28. I would not know how to thank the help they give with these contributions !!!

  29. Thank you very much, the information is invaluable. I would be grateful to publish more related articles.

  30. Thanks for the clarification Vicente, I have been comparing, and there is some similarity in exercises that come with the Civil3D tutorial, but in effect, it is a great job that they have done. I have already made the clarifications in the post.

    Regards and congratulations

  31. My name is Vicente Alarcon and I am the Dtor. Of the Department of GIS and Civil Engineering of APLICAD. We are delighted that this documentation we have developed is useful. I just want to make an observation to the presentation that you make of the book. This manual is not an adaptation of English, on the contrary has been written entirely by one of our application engineers: Neus Ros (Engineer in Geodesy by the Polytechnic University of Valencia).
By the way, if you are also interested in GIS topics, I invite you to download the GIS Project Manual with Autocad MAP from Rafael Serrano and Vicente Alarcon on our website.
    Greetings to all.

  32. Hi, where can I get this manual? Thank you !!
