Design of solar plants with AutoCAD Civil 3D

Autocad civil 3d podcast

A webcast has been announced to learn about the application of AutoCAD Civil 3D to solar plants. This will be this March 26, 2009 at noon (12 a.m. to 13 p.m., I guess Madrid time) and the content includes:

  • The creation of the Digital Terrain Model (DTM).
  • The analysis of the MDT by longitudinal and transverse profiles.
  • The edition of the MDT to achieve the desired conditions.
  • The necessary ground movements and the final result.

The use of podcasts is being used more and more since in real time (or almost) it is possible to see a presentation, consult and comment without leaving the office. Other software companies have switched their annual conferences to this method; while saving costs, allowing a greater audience and ease for those who are really interested and cannot attend a face-to-face event. Although the limitation of access through broadband is a problem that still affects audiences; however it seems to be easier to solve than attending an international event.

So to participate, you only need to have a phone number and Internet access.
