Choosing a GIS application

Gis application

Here is a graph of the last seminar I gave (for free) to a group of people with good intentions but no money to invest.

Among the topics that we discussed and that were enriching, it was how much it would cost to do it with different platforms. We also talk about the advantages and disadvantages of these applications and some reasons why it is not appropriate to mix them a lot.

Their confusion seems amusing, they want Bentley's precision, ESRI's eye-catching, AutoDesk's popularity and Manifold's economy.

There has finally been a gain in grounding them into exactly what they want to do, separating engineering from geospatial and publishing collaboration. In this it is good that the people who will invest decide, and respecting their decision is part of being a good advisor; Although it seems hasty, I see them quite determined.

After the cut coffee, a melted cheese sandwich and the sense of guilt for my habit of bragging seem very convinced, and that's good

... although there are other solutions to take your life with more suffering
